I need a little bit of help here...actually alot of help. My husband and I have 2 beautiful girls together and he has one daughter from a previous relationship; they were never married. For the first 4 years of our relationship he and his ex had joint custody, which in the state of NH means everything is 50/50. We have had to go back and forth in the courts for years because of all kinds of issues. My SD mother has 6 children total, my SD is #4 and she sucks the state of NH dry for all the funds she could possibly get. SHe does not work and neither does her boyfriend, whom they now have 2 children together. My husband has recently been ordered to pay child support because the visitation was no longer 50/50. We are ok with paying child support...thats his obligation as a father and we are fine with that. However...the amount he is ordered to pay is insane. It's more than I spend on my 2 little kids and I have diapers and preschool to pay for. We moved to Illinois and had to put our house in NH up for sale just so we could afford the child support. However, our house isnt sold yet and we are living in a trailer park living pay check to pay check and now we have been hit again with this child support order that we literally CANNOT afford. We will be homeless and living in poverty if this continues. My husband works 6 days a weekand makes more here in IL than he did in NH so me working is out of the question because that means that we will need to pay for child care but since we would have the extra income we wouldnt qualify for any assistance what-so-ever.We are in desperate need for help, we dont know what to do anymore, we just feel completely defeated. My 2 girls deserve better and they deserve 2 happy parents just like every other child. Right now they have 2 very unhappy, and 2 very stessed out parents who are at a loss of how to make things better. Any advice would be appreciated.
