I was wondering if I can be blocked by law of posting family pictures that include my step children? The birth mother is insisting that i stop posting pictures of my now blended family on social media. Could she really find a lawyer and make me stop including all of my blended family?

It is possible she could. I have heard of this happening in the custody court orders, that only the biological parents may post pictures of the child. However, unless the pictures are offensive, or unless she simply disagrees with posting pics of her children online altogether (i.e. she never post pics of her kids either) I think it is also a little picky of her. However, there is the possibility that she could do it.

You might consult a lawyer in your area about that but I have never heard of that being the case. My son's step mom is posting pics of him on her Facebook and I never say anything because she is part of his extended family. I think its a nit-picky thing to be doing that to you since you are his step mom and have kids as well as hers in the family.
