Hello, I had an hosiptal appointment yesterday again to check my baby's fluid and again I've lost a little more, Once we had our scan and everything else done. He said about me having the steroid jab ASAP, He had told us what the jab will do and the doctors think my girl may be here before the 36 weeks mark (Which is 3 weeks away).. He said they'll have to keep the option open for a c - section just in case I'm unable to deliver her myself, I had was given the jab yesterday and had another one today to help her lungs and hopefully prevent labout. He never said anything about me now being in to prem labour, and I might be able to go full term but got more chances of going in early.. I was just wondering can low fluids send you into labour and what is the chances me having my daughter within the 3 weeks I've got let until I'm 36 weeks gone? I've gotta have a scan every week with a load of other test, I'm just really curios..
Sorry for the long message ladies!

And that's ok, but believe me, as a parent, you are going to have to learn :) It's not easy, but it gets easier. There will be many times in your child's life where you will need to be your child's advocate and ask lots of questions. This is your first. Good luck!!!

Okay, Thank-you. I'm not a very talk able person when it comes to new people face 2 face, but I will start asking more 😊 Thank ' you for commenting:')

You need to learn to ask questions about your care. If you aren't sure, ask. Don't let them brush you off. If you were in shock at the time, there is no harm in making another appointment with your doctor now to have a conversation. I am not sure if they stop labour, but your doctor should be able to answer your questions.

Oh right, I've loads of things online about women but just wanted to hear some stories myself☺They say you can't believe everything you read right?πŸ˜‰ Sorry, Just first time having a child and knowing that she could be here early certainly panics me..
I'm guessing they choose to gave me the steroid jabs because my fluid? Then didn't say anything else really why the jab was going to be given to be,I was slight shock when they was trying to explain everything and nothing was going in. As I definitely don't want a c - section, wanna do it by my self😌!Also can the jabs prevent labour too? Thank-You for commenting!

Yes, low amniotic fluid could cause you to go into pre-term labour, or it may mean they need to induce you. Low fluid can also mean higher risk of a breech birth (as the baby can't move around as well), possibly resulting in a c-section. No-one here can predict whether your baby will come before 36 weeks, but clearly your doctors believe there is a possibility, so you need to be prepared for it just in case. If they are giving steroid injections to help with lung development, then your medical team seems to think it is a possibility.....
