Still on G-Tube

My son is going on 11 months still with a g tube. To make a long story short he was born with a diaphragmatic hernia, and was incubated from birth. He developed an oral aversion but I'm confident that he's over it because he puts EVERYTHING in his mout-except food!

I am desperate for help and techniques to try. At one point he loved solids but his reflux returned with a vengeance. It's now back under control but he won't try anything.

He needs feeding therapy, but until it can be arranged I want advice. Please help!

This is more complicated then just not being hungry enough. It's a medical problem, so please unless your child had a feeding problem and you know what it's like, your advice probably won't help!

My son didn't exactly have a feeding issue, but he wasn't eating solids 3 times/day on a semi-regular basis til over a year. He was breastfed, so I just didn't worry about it.

How long until he can get the feeding therapy? Personally, I just wouldn't worry about right now. Keep offering, but he should be fine on just breast milk or formula for the time being.
