I've been solely breastfeeding my son for the past two years, and I've been trying to wean him off for the past five months. This has proven to be very unsuccessful. I've been done with it for awhile now and I can tell that it's no longer a necessity for him. I decided yesterday that enough was enough and that I'd just stop baby to boob contact cold turkey. I've pumped enough to last the next month or so, but the bottle proved to be ineffective. This was a little surprising because he has no issues drinking from cups, sippy cups, water bottles or anything else during the day. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks? Or personal stories that I could relate to.
Thanks

Oh ok? I'm not an expert on breastfeeding, for a long period of time. I did bf for a year with both of my children. When i weened them off of the boob, I gave them cows milk as a supplement and I bf once at night time to put them to sleep. Finally they just didn't want it anymore and I dried up quickly.

The breast pump that I have, pumps right into a bottle. Also it has a nursing nipple on it so I figured it'd be an easier transition.
