stopping cold turkey

My daughter is 17 months. It was my choice to stop cold turkey about 9 days ago. She's doing fine but when she ask for it in the middle of the night i can't help but feel bad when I tell her she can not because she's a big girl now! Should I have stopped? Should I start back? Why do I feel like I made a big mistake stopping?

If you regret stopping you could go back to just the night feeding. I must say I nursed my last until age two, just at night and I secretly loved that time. Just the two of us alone in the dark. I had three older kids so it was the only time I had with just Emma.
Ultimately, if you desire to not feed, then don't feel badly. She is and will be fine. If you want to start up again, go ahead.
