I was curious if anyone has any good suggestions to help relieve stress. I was told if i didn't relieve some of the stress I'm caring i will miscarry. The doctors have given me suggestions but I don't think they are really right from me and this is my first pregnancy and I'm hoping that someone with experience may have some suggestions that helped them out?

A good massage, walking, sitting around watch good funny movies, hanging out with friends laughing, reading a good book, sleeping and resting,I like to clean. Sometimes just taking a few minutes at a time breathing and clearing your mind helps. Meditation and Yoga is really good I recommend tht. You can read up on the benefits I think tht may b the best route. I wish i would have done this. I was so stressed during my pregnancy and doing so much and not getting enough rest i had my son at 30wks and 6/7 days. We are going through so much right now. He is in the NICU and has been since Dec 2nd 2011. So definately I pray u find tht stress reliever. Like i said I recommend Yoga it helps the body and mind sooo much.

A nice bath with a good book. Knitting for your little one is also quite relaxing. Jigsaw puzzles or crosswords. A good dvd with a mega bar of chocolate. A nice walk out in the fresh air and a picnic. Lots of things can calm you down.

If it is any consolation stress is not a cause to miscarry I was under enormous stress when I had my last child, you just have to think what will be will be. Then relax!
