My daughter has always struggled in school. She doesnt understand things as easily as others. It takes her a while to grasp concepts. She really neeeds alot of explaining before she understands things.Things that are easy for other kids, she usually struggles with. She also gets extremly anxious and stressed out. She can cry, and cry about certain things. She gets worried about everything. She doesnt know where to start once she gets an assignment or project. She always asks for help, and I wind up helping her and then in school she gets okay grades, but her teachers dont understand why on her assignments she does okay, but she doesnt understand on her own. I feel if I dont help her, her teachers will see how much she is struggling. She has some trouble with math, but is great at spelling and reading. Help!!! I have a feeling its a learning disability. She also has trouble focusing and paying close attention to details. Anyone have any suggestions or they think they know what might be. My daughter know is 12, and in 7th grade! Thanks Maya:)

Thats a good point. I have had her tested before, and they are not sure if she has one or not. She doesnt have specific learning disabilities like dyslexia, or disgraphia, so Im really not sure what she has. Her teachers think she may have ADD. Thanks again

You might need to talk to her teachers about how much she is struggling so they can work with you to find the best way to help her. You said you think she might have a learning disability, have you ever had her tested before? It wouldn't be a bad idea for a just in case kind of thing.
