Put a vaporizor in whatever room he is sleeping in. You can get them at the drug store they cost less than $20. You need to get the liquid that goes in it to make the steam. It steams up the room just like sitting in the bathroom with the shower running.

My son snorts and sounds really really congested frequently, too. He's about 6 weeks old now...I'm hoping he'll grow out of it as there's nothing I can do or give him for it. It's also making him vomit sometimes; which is no fun for anyone. I have his mattress elevated, too and he does do better in the mornings after he's slept all night like that versus flat on his back throughout the day.

have you tried putting a rolled up blanket under his cot mattress to raise his head slightly when he sleeps? That way the mucus drains better and doesn't settle over night and he'll be better in the morning. I never found any of those nasal aspirators worked and you certainly don't want to be giving him any medication at so young an age. When his face grows he will more than likely grow out of it, as the doctor says.
