My first didn't move a whole lot. My second, 32 weeks pregnant now, moves constantly. He is really strong. Just him turning makes my stomach stretch and feel like he might burst out any moment. When he kicks its really strong, almost to the point of pain and almost always uncomfortable. My son has been kicking me for an hour straight sometimes, and then other days he will kick once an hour if that. He is really active. If you are really concerned, contact your doctor and ask, but it can be pretty normal.

Defintely call your doctor if you're concerned! I knew a Mom that called the doctor's office almost every week with her second child when she had questions/concerns.

They all move differently, for sure! My first was very jabby, my second was a rolling movement (it was like being tickled from the inside, I didn't like it so much! lol) and my 3rd felt like he was having siezures! I wondered about him at times, but everything was always fine at appointments and sonos and he is a normal, healthy 17mos old boy!

Well she was my 3rd and my other two pregnancies didn't hurt like that either,I actually hated my 3rd pregnancy by the end. I Rememeber when she was born she was very active for new born even when I held her she would wriggle around and push out her arms and legs a lot, as mad as it sounds I could recognise the movements from when she was in me and I never felt like that with the other two either but it made all those months of pain seem nice.

She's two now and as heathy as they come.

Thank you for commenting. I was so worried there was something wrong with him. He moves like you said so strong it feels like im bruised. With my first pregnancy my daughter didnt move like this. I was worried because i had read in my what to expect when expecting book, that if they move panicly (too much) that you should talk to your dr. I was just at the dr yesterday and she said everything checked out so, i think i need to stop reading the book everytime i do i freak ou. Lol, thank you though.

If your worried go ask your midwife for reassurance. My last daughter moved so much and she was so strong it would hurt, it felt like I was bruised inside when I mentioned it to the MW she told me it was the sign of a health baby.
