My 14 months old baby girl had a high temp of 104. Temp was controlled with the help of ibuprofen. Temp remained for a week after which doctor conducted some tests and found that she had urinal tract infection. Doctor suggested antibiotics. After the course she got alright and remained well for a week. After which fever got back. Urine culture was conducted again but this time test result was negative. She again had high fever and doctors suspected her enteric fever. For confirmation her blood culture test result is due in couple of days. By that time she was given broad purpose antibiotic through iv. She also was hospitalised. Antibiotic responded and fever settled. She was sent home with a course of antibiotic for seven days. Today after five days while she is in an antibiotic course, fever around 100 to 101 has come back. Pls suggest what should I do now.
