My 8-year-old son gets sick A LOT, mostly during the school year, maybe once in the summer. He gets bad colds, coughing leading to vomiting, fevers with vomiting. No sooner is he getting over one sickness, and he will catch something else. He used to get a lot of earaches as well but had tubes placed a year ago, which helped tremendously. Lately, he has been getting minor earaches again though. He has been eating very well lately, lots of fish, meat and veggies but that doesn't seem to be making any difference in how much he gets sick. He takes a Flintstones vitamin each morning, but I am wondering if I should try giving him something each day in addition to the Flintstones to help keep him healthy, and if so, what? I welcome any suggestions because I am at my wit's end. Thanks!
