OK, I just read your other post. You are the one who is pregnant. What you are talking about is not surrogacy, it is adoption. You need to talk to an adoption agency because I think you will find you will likely need the father's consent. If you try to do this without his consent it may not be a valid process. But you need to check on the laws where you live.

Ask a lawyer in your area. The laws are different between states and countries.

It's still an adoption, not a surrogacy. You've sought advice and been given it. Speak to an adoption agency. You can't just give your child to your sister without doing it legally.

You need to talk to an adoption agency. Your sister would need to adopt the baby and both you and the birth father would need to terminate your rights. Legally you can't just give someone your baby without going through the proper legal channels. This will not cost you, but your sister would need to pay for a home study, the legal fees to have birth parents rights terminated, the post placements, and the legal fees for the adoption.

I actually just got pregnant, but I'm not in a relationship I have 3 kids from my longterm previous relationship and really feel it's Best for my sister to be this baby's mammy. She is a lesbian and unfortunately could never afford IVF or anything else like that so I would love nothing more than for her to be the mommy but the father knows I'm pregnant but he is not a gud person and I'm constantly finding more and more of his ways, he is abusive controlling he also hits is mother has drug convictions and a bad narcissism manipulating personality so I as a father of my baby I really do fear the worst, and I can't afford solicitors so I thought I'd just see if anyone here would have advice. I'm confused. Surrogacy is generally through IVF and is generally carrying the baby ON BEHALF of another couple. Are you the one carrying the baby or the one who is arranging for someone to carry your baby with the sperm of a father who is not agreeing to your use of the sperm?
