Switching from Breastfeeding to formula

I want to stop breastfeeding before I go back to work but I don't know the best way to go about doin it. I don't want this to be a shock to my baby. I also don't know which formula to try first. I have two different brands already purchased. Any suggestions????

If your baby already takes a bottle, you should be good to go. Switch one feed at a time for about a week. This gives your breast time to lessen milk supply so your not hurting or leaking everywhere when you Finnish completely. Your baby may not want formula from you so you may have to get its dad or someone else to try for a bit. As weird as this sounds my daughter took her first formula bottles better with me walking around while holding her for a bit, and she held the bottle. If your lo has never drank from a bottle this might be a bit of a battle. Just dont give up, try different bottles, different temps ( never really hot) other ppl. My son would only take it if he was the one holding it. As for brand I use nestle good start. Never had a prob with it. Good luck I hope all goes well for you.
