Hello. So I have a swollen salivary gland on one side under my jaw. I have been to two different doctors and they aren't very concerned, but they can't give me a reason or explanation. I am having sooo much anxiety over this issue and am losing my mind about it. I keep thinking it is something scary, but can't get answers. I have found some, but very little info on the internet that says hormones/breastfeeding could be linked. I am wondering if anyone has ever experienced this as well? Thank you.

Thank you for responding. I really don't have any pain though. It is just an annoying "fullness" feeling. I am going to the doc again and asking for blood tests or something. My agony is the fear of it being cancer, not the actual pain of it

When I nursed, and one of my sisters as well; I developed a stone in my salivary gland. It was agony. My doctor shrugged my off and told me to chew "quench" gun (super sour gun meant to wet your mouth during exercise). However, my dentist was more concerned, he took xrays and confirmed it was a stone, not a a tumor. The oral surgeon believed that nursing women that are prone to blocked ducts are also proneto blocked salivary glands. It only happened to me once and it was awful. Go to your dentist or an oral surgeon (like the guy who does wisdom teeth
