My 4 1/2 year old grandson was remove from the family home and is in my care. He throws tantrums constantly. Hard to walk away and ignore but is that the best way to handle it..?

Hi Kathleen sorry to hear your having a hard time, children in a new environment can act up to see what the limits are and how far they can push you even without the difficulty of being taken from his home. I've found putting my daughter in her room when she has a tantrum and alowing her to come out when she's ready to calm down and listen is the only thing that works sometimes. All we can do is let them know we love them and will be there for them even after they make a bad choice. Good luck and God bless.
