My daughter just recently turned 4 but this has been going on for quite some time. Every time she has to get dressed she throws a tantrum even after i let her pick her own clothes and its the same with shoes. I am at my wits end as its an over the top tantrum atleast 3 times a day. Nothing i have been doing seems to work and i am desperate for answers please help!!!

It could be a sensory thing, my son had issues and is getting better. Take her shopping and let her try things on. From the ages of 3-5 my son wouldn't wear jeans and he's still peculiar about them. We also had to cut tags out, if her underwear is bothering her maybe buy little cartwheel shorts for her to wear instead.

Does she actually change herself? Try that. And if not, just bring her out the way she is. That will most likely help. If not, you will have to ask yourself if it is worth the battle. I used to have the same problem. Once o twice going out in pj's sure helped.

I put her clothes out for her on the bed and she dresses herself but most of the time she doesnt like what i have put out for her so i ask her to grab clothes she wants to wear, and there is still a fuss. I have to cut the tags off every item of clothing she wears and now she is complaining about the elastic in her knickers.
