This is my sons 2nd year of school last year pre-k now entered k. My son is a spirited high energy child. He is also very smart and right up to date with where he should be educationally and above in some areas. Teacher complained he cried to much first week. Then at pick up last week teacher mentioned she believed sensory issues told me to google it. Yesterday she said he was out of control and now she thinks he has PICA. I know my son he does not chew or eat anything at home that is not food. She stated he was eating paper. When i questioned him he said he was spiting it out. I don't condone class disruptions and misbehavior and I am completely willing to work with school but don't feel that a teacher should be diagnosing ever and especially after 14 days of knowing him. We setup a parent teacher conference at there request. Please help with any advice
