There is a teacher at my boys public school who has a really bad reputation. We live in a small town, everyone knows everyone. Since my guys have been in kindergarten, all I keep hearing about is this teacher. He usually teaches the grade 6,7 or 8's. It is from students and parents alike that I hear how this man will flirt and favor the young pretty popular girls. The flirting part I have seen with my own eyes and it turns my stomach and sets off all kinds of alarm bells. Most parents will says "Well, thank goodness I don't have a girl or at least he won't bother my daughter because she is not part of the popular group. All I keep thinking is "REALLY", because to me if he can so freely flirt with 11,12, and 13 year old girls, something seems a bit off kilter there. I not only don't feel comfortable with him teaching my boys, but really don't feel good about knowing he is walking them same halls as them. He also has had run ins with parents of at least 3 boys that I know of for calling the boys stupid and screaming all the time. Most parents shrug this behavior off or complain to each other but don't do anything about it. My oldest will be in grade 7 in the fall. He could have him for a teacher. What would you do......?........?
