My 5 year old son is being teased by other children at school. He is reluctant to go to school and gets frustrated when I try to talk to him about what is happening. I am not sure what I should tell him to do. I want to tell him to stand up for himself! Help!

Go to the school directly. Talk with the teacher and principal about what is going on. They may not know. Your son should not be the one to address it, the school needs to deal with the bullies and make the parents aware of their kids actions.

I totally agree with the other two comments , go straight to the teacher n head of the school , an discuss the matter , try n find out which child it is that's your child an see if u can arrange a meeting with that child's parents so everyone can get involved an discuss the issue . The sooner its done the better , so that your child isn't suffering , i too was bullied at a young age at school for my disability so know what its like , i hope for u all it gets sorted n it stops . xxx

You need to find out why he is being teased. That is so important. Maybe there is a simple fix. If not time to go the the teacher first, then the principle if that doesn't work. That is called bullying and is not tolerated in schools with great administration.
