I have a 12 year old (soon to be 13 year old) daughter. She's becoming out of control. It's not really bad now but if don't have some type of intervention I'm afraid of what is to come. She acts up at school, is on social media without permission, talking about sex with boys. I need advice on what I can do?

Take away her devices - unplug the computer. CONSEQUENCES for her behavior. If she wants anything back -- she has to EARN it. She needs to earn back your trust as well. I recommend counselling. SO MUCH BETTER to get some counselling now --- don't wait til she's pregnant. Or has a disease. Kids do not have the brain development to deal with these big choices -- and once hormones are rolling they are especially nonsensical in their decision making. You however, are an adult she should be able to count on to be level headed and calm. No matter what.
