I'm 16 years old and have recently been very tired all the time, unable to stay awake during the day and not noticing that I've fallen asleep until I wake up. I also jerk in my sleep. I experience episodes of this occasionally but not this extreme. it could be one or a few of three things:
1) exams are on, and I play a demanding sport (training 9 times a week) but if anything my training and schedule have decreased because its summer
2)I had brain damage and a tic disorder when I was 13 which had me hospitalised for 9 months, the first symptom was extreme tiredness (unlikely that it has come back)
3)Im just being a teenager (most likely)
Can you give me any advice about making myself feel less tired? I don't want to ask my mum cos she worries. I eat healthy and sleep 7+ hours a night.
