Teenagers - husband ugly morning routine

I have two high school boys. The agreement at the beginning of the school was to leave at 6:50 for school. One boy is always ready and the other normally isn't ready until almost 7:00. His class is right by his locker so he can still be on time even leaving that late. The other boy has to drop off his sports bag, go to his locker then hike to the other end of school so leaving on time is crucial. My husband takes them to school and will not leave without both boys. We live within walking distance to school and I've suggested he leave on time and let the late boy walk to school but husband won't do it. Husband's answer is to scream at the slow boy, which isn't working. If I take the on time boy and leave the other behind, husband will take him when he is finally ready. The mornings are one big shouting match and I am tired of it. Any ideas??

Thanks Amy! Now how to get my husband to agree? He doesn't want to 'upset' the late boy by leaving him behind, so instead everyone starts their day off in a bad way.

I agree with you and leave on time, if the one boy us never ready on time he can walk. Maybe after a couple of days of walking he'll realize he better be on time. But since they are both in highschool the one who is ready on time could also walk so that he has plenty of time to get everything done he needs to without having to wait on someone.
