Your NOT supposed to use orejel on younger babies specially 5 months old. It can cause problems with swallowing :(

TRY Teething tablets
FROZEN wash cloth
or FROZEN Banana
FROZEN teething ring. You could even try massaging them yourself if he will let you..
Let him chew on keys. My son is trying to break through the TOP 2 TEETH & I am going through this now. DOn't keep drugging your baby up with meds to stop him from crying. Try carrying him around & soothing if none of the above helps :)

The teething tablets worked awesome good luck.. Its never fun with a teething baby....

You might also try the homeopathic teething tablets - you can find them at most drugstores and health food stores. I used them with my daughter and they seemed to help.
