Teething or Growth Spurt?

I'm a new mom of a 4 month old baby girl. The past week she has been extra fussy, not taking good naps at all and waking up during the night when she has been sleeping 10-12 hours straight. She has been very slobbery and always had her hands in her mouth but she's been doing that for the last month or so and has been fine until the last week. Is 4 months too early to be teething? Her past growth spurts have never been this difficult if it is just a growth spurt. Any info or advise would be great for this sleep deprived mom! Thanks!

My 8 month old baby has no teeth but has strong gums she also did, same thing when she was 4.dnt worry this is normal babies explore their hands and want to know and taking in mouth is their way to explore things.if your baby is having sm prob may be she want to go out or if u r breastfeeding then check what u r taking in diet it may creat prob baby's tummy as their digestion still sensitive.else everything is normal.
