So my son is working on his molars and eye teeth (14 months old). He is in on and off pain and drooling and all the normal stuff. This is my 2nd kid and my daughter was a horrible teether so this isnt all new to me. But my question is has anyone had their toddler's 1st (or 2nd) molar break out near the top of his gum (so a good 4 or 5 mm) from the bottom? It is sticking out of the top like a non-molar tooth. So isnt that gonna hurt like hell (which it seems like it does on his 'bad' times of the day). It has bled once a little when broke through. But it just seems wrong it is up so high for bein a molar especially. Does anyone think this is normal. I think I will call a dental hygenist when they open up for the day still, but just curious as dont want my poor boy to be in pain of course:( Thanks.
