I have a few friends who are pregnant and are looking for at least temp work right now but are having a hard time due to the fact that they are pregnant although i know nothing about temp agencies i think this would be a helpful idea for alot of women...I dont know how to go about it but Im interested in seeing the possibilities for it does anyone else think this can be a business idea taken to the next level or should i just forget it. I would like to know if pregnant women would be interested and also if business owners would be ok and how it someway could be beneficial for the owner? a little help please....thanks

I think this would be a wonderful idea! I am 8 months pregnant right now and would love to have had the chance to work before I got to far along, but because no one wants to hire someone they are going to have to lay off or let go in a few months, I felt like it wasnt even worth trying to look for a job. So needless to say even though I am in school and have an 11 yr old to take care of, along with my household and husband, without being able to bring in a paycheck I have felt a little bit worthless! :( So if there were a way to work out something with employers with the understanding of only working a few months, I think it would be very beneficial to pregnant women everywhere, and especially the self esteem factor!

Thanks for the encouragement because i need it but i worked all the way up until the day b4 i was suppose to give birth and during my pregnancy was the first time in my job that i was never absent also I made all my doctors appointments after work so my pregnancy was never an issue with my job...so women who are pregnant I really think can work hard and be as good of a worker as anyone and probably have more drive to put the best foot forward because they need the extra income or even something to do during that time or job experience...at the least after you give birth the job might ask u to come back if u needed too. my problem is to get the employers to be ok with hiring pregnant women...its hard already but i know if i could find some companies who are willing this could turn out to be something great...thanks again for the words
