Hi. I'm wondering what to expect and if its worth the whole hassle. My son was born with bilateral clubfeet, had the casting and bars and was doing great. At about 4 years of age, we noticed that he walks toed in. Now at age 6, his Doctor recommends a tendon transfer but says if I keep it this way it's fine. He'll just walk toed in for the rest of his life. My question is: Has anyone experiene with doing the tendon transfer? Were there complications? I do want his feet straight but is it worth the hassle? He'll have to be in non-walking casts on both legs for 6 weeks, then 2 weeks in walking casts and then a brace for a few months.
