Typical behaviour for a predator. "It's not MY problem", "It was started by someone else", and my favourite of all "I'm just a man, I can't help my urges".

And then to come back and play the "I'm hurt and offended" card when they're caught and confronted.

These poor girls, both the friend and the daughter, need counseling, and a lifetime of love and understanding to overcome the abuse and assaults they've received at the hands of their 'parents'.

If you aren't happy with the responses you received on this site. Go elsewhere. Any man that refuses to report a crime against a child is not a man. You are a coward. A sad, sad coward

What did you expect?
You admitted to sexually deviant behavior. You said you stopped the inappropriateness in your own house. You refused to help the young victim (your daughter's friend) that was being abused by her family.

Suggestions to help solve your problem: Get counseling. Report the crime against the other girl.

Sorry if you don't like these suggestions, but they're not wrong just because you don't like them.

Oh, that's right. The best friend thinks this is normal because they accept incest in their home. He was also advised to contact CPS. Seriously, dude, stop making excuses.

Have you called CPS or the police to report the sex crime against a minor?

You WERE given advice. Plenty of it. In addition to being told that you should be hung out by your balls for ACTING on those feelings (i.e. masturbating to images in your mind of your daughter, which is NOT normal), you were told that your entire family should be in counselling. So have you sought counselling for yourself and your family? Or are you just choosing to ignore the advice you did receive and instead come here with a "woe is me" post?

And, yes, I do believe that they all should have the treatment I described in the other post...

Kids who have to go through this spend the rest of their lives learning how to handle it, live a 'normal' life, and move forward. My SIL is 2 years older than I (we're both pushing 50), and she still relives the rapes and assaults. My husband is still in counseling. These things stopped happening to them when they were the same ages as this poster claims his daughter is, because they were finally able to get him arrested and jailed.

He admitted to masturbating to images of his daughter, and then tried to pass it off as "my daughter witnessed incestuous behaviour elsewhere and thought it was ok".

I'm married to an adult survivor of this crap. This is EXACTLY the same type of excuse his father used to rape his 3 kids.
