The end of my sons penis under the foreskin is still red?

My son is 16 months old. His foreskin already retracts some easily and comfortably (for him). He was havin pain in his groin area about 10 days ago so went to doctor as I assumed bladder infection. But that was -ve. Doc checked and she thinks was yeast infection. So was to use clotrimaderm. I did that for the 6 days twice a day. Left if for a couple days and checked again yesterday morn and a part of the tip under the foreskin (about half of it) is very red still. Started puttin the cream on again but the cream says dont use over 6 days. I dont think it is bothering him that much as not actually grabbing anymore but of course there is still playin when his diaper is off. So could it be red there just from him "exploring himself" or should I get it checked again? Should I continue or discontinue the cream? I have never had a yeast infection so not too familiar with 'will the cream be bad if use it longer than it stats.' Thanks for ur help:)

no change in diapers. And I've been tryin to keep him naked often in case is yeast infection so help it breathe. And no he dont use soaps cause has eczema as well. But yeah was thinkin should take him back in but wanted to see if this was normal or not. So I wil for sure take him to walk in this week to get him looked at as dont want a bad infection. thanks:)

did you change diapers or bath soaps because that could be the problem as well, I would go back to the doctor as well to make sure everything is good,

You are not and have never pulled the foreskin back away from his penis, correct? If the answer to that is yes, then there is your problem.

If the answer is no, then put a call into your doc
