Thermal imaging breast screening......

Tamara, from what I've been told, thermal imaging can be done even before a mammogram can detect a tumor. For a tumor to start developing, blood vessels have to be in place to support it's growth, and they give off heat that is detected by the thermal images. I know it is being used by Western medical doctors now, but on a limited basis. My husband and I also study holistic medicine, and saw a demo this weekend about it. I was impressed, and the explaination made sense to me. The images have to be read by someone trained, though. I do not have a family history, nor do I have any other classic markers, and I am 'only' 37, but I do have some pretty scary symptoms(tender spot in my lymph nodes and one on my left breast, and also a couple holistic 'pressure points' are very tender). My M.D. basically dismissed them. Said if it doesn't show on a mammogram, it isn't there!
I've made changes in my diet, and started taking some supplements known to lower cancer risks. Exercise and stress relief are now important parts of my life, but if something else can be done, I plan to find out about it! My youngest is only 7, and I plan to see her into adulthood.
I wish you good luck also! I think taking the steps to be proactive, and knowing your risk is actually an advantange, no matter which way you decide to treat it!
