Please help my 3 year old daughter has very thick hair..although its nice and long but I cant make a simple pony tail, the only alternative is to braid her hair everytime. isnt there any kiddies products i can use to make it little softer and more managable?

Thanks Mary, think I'll try the coconut oil trick (can recall using that as children). What i have also noticed is her hair falls out when i wash them, could it be coz its always braided? i notice it especially when i wash her hair and run my fingers through her hair...any anti-breakage trick?

There are kiddie detangler sprays out there which help. My daughter has a ridiculous amount of hair; I did start using regular "adult" conditioner on her sometime after she was two. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to get a comb through it.

If I'm going to braid it, I do use a tiny, pea-sized amount of plain coconut oil. I just rub it all over the palm of my hands until it's melted and run my hands through the bottom half of her hair.
