Ive continued my prenatal pills & have no signs that Im pregnant only thing is my last pregnancy I thought I had arthritis in my joints with all the burning & stiffness & further into pregnancy it went away but now its back it returned approx 3 wks after giving birth. What are your thoughts & please be respectful as I ask for input but NOT disrespect. Thank You & God Bless

I think it's probably unlikely but not impossible. Did you use any kind of protection? If not, then your chances do increase. However, it still takes a while for the hormones to fully settle down, so what you could be feeling might be normal post-partum hormones for you.

Sorry for your lost....

But like Marine said there is reasons for the 6 week heal time, vaginal birth or not. My friend also didnt follow the rules, and got pregnant with twins, which in turn both had heart conditions. And yes the first few weeks after pregnancy is the a very good time to get pregnant.

I also think you should go speak to a professional about your lost before you get pregnant agian.

I would go to a doctor to find out for sure. They can take a blood sample to know for sure. But there are reasons they all tell you to wait at least 6 weeks to have sex after giving birth. So your body can heal from the trauma of giving birth, and also so this does not happen. Good luck....next time follow doctors directions :)

I've heard that you are pretty fertile right after giving birth, so I'd say you might have a good chance. Of course, I 'think' I've also heard that you can test postive for 6 weeks (plus or minus a bit... don't remember) after giving birth just due to the remaining hormones in your body.... or something like that.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know you want to get pregnant again right away and I can understand that, but I hope you are seeking grief counseling of some sort (even if it's just venting to a close friend).

as far as the healing. I had a vaginal birth, no rips, no complications, pushed 4 times before he came out & he was only 4lbs. So no Dr. gave the O.K., but I was feeling better & wasnt sore, bleeding, or having any other problems. I also know that I can get pregnant anytime I have sex, thats the point..

Everytime you have sex unprotected its possible to get pregnant. Not sure what doctor gave you the go ahead to have sex before the 6 week healing time is done though.
