ok so my son just had tubes put in and adenoids removed on friday (9/14) it was all good up until recovery..they said that all kids need a little oxygen after.., is this true?? well anyways aidan (my son) needed it more than most children usually do because he has bad conjestion/mild asthma and it was harder for him in recovery but then again this is the first time ive been through this and i worry so much..any ideas on how long it will take before he feels better ?(everyone is different i know) and also, his breathing at night..its almost like he cant..apnea at the least..every other minute he kinda stops breathing..and chest goes up and down like he is trying then a big breath..over and over..(i wont leave his side when hes trying to sleep cus i feel as though i must move him a bit to get him to wake out of these apnea spells)...ive called drs about e.r. visit (they recommend not to because he is more susceptable to germs, etc. ) but i need to figure something out for him ive litterally tried all i could think of...he wasnt eating at all and barely drinking until today..but im so worried about tonight and what happens with sleeping..weve been on living room floor past few nights and no sleep at all.. until the a.m is when he gets any and sleeps till about noon..its so tough..hope you understand my jiberish.. any advice would be helpfull.. : /
