I recently found out that I was expecting and my fiancé am I were so happy. We had been trying for over a year and finally we got pregnant.

Yesterday morning I woke up with light bleeding and blood clots. I went to the ER and they did a vaginal ultrasound and said I was 5 weeks and 5 days, but there was no heart beat. And that my pregnancy is abnormal. I'm confused and scared. They diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage. My bleeding has increased and I'm cramping really bad. I took Tylenol and it didn't stop the pain it's just constant. We really want a baby and I'm just so distraught about everything. Has anyone gone thru this or anything similar with a good outcome? Please I would love to hear your story.

I have had almost the same thing that you are going through. I ended up losing my baby and I was 6 weeks along. Unfortunately, it is just something that is very common and it does not mean you cannot have more kids. I got pregnant about 6 months later (with twins) and had no complications. I am so sorry you have to go through this, but just remember you can try again and it WILL happen at the right time. Stay strong and know you aren't alone. ♥

I am sorry - no I haven't been through this and haven't even heard of a threatened miscarriage. I just didn't want your post to go unanswered. I am really sorry for your difficult time.
Has your doctor given you any advice or contacts for support? Also, where do you live? In Canada, there are some really good programs at the YMCA- I could maybe pass on a name of a lady who is amazing! She runs pre and post natal groups, moms groups, PPD groups and she may have some knowledge or offer some support. She is truly the most amazing lady I have ever met!
