I am from India and new to USA. Could anybody suggest with there past experience, how should I take care of myself after baby is delivered. Step by step details of first one or two month after baby is delivered.Which will help me for lactation, help me for my recovery, help me for getting flat tummy etc. Thanks for your time.

If you had a natural delivery then you just need to refrain from sex until you see your doctor at 6 weeks. No tampons either. That will allow you tine to heal. Really isn't much else needed for that part.

Lactation, feed the baby on a regular basis. Depending on the baby of course. One of mine wanted every 20-30 minutes, another was once an hour. If you start to get swollen, feel free to pump some. I never gave the pumped milk to the baby because I avoided bottles, either is fine though.

How do you get a flat tummy? That is an answer all of us would love to know :). The truth is if you breast feed it does make it easier to lose the weight. You need to still watch what you eat, and eat enough for the baby to get healthy milk from you. You can exercise lightly from day one. Walking is a good example of light exercise. This can increase as you are comfortable, just listen to your body. You may never have a "flat" tummy ever again. Be prepared for that.
