Hi. My son will be one in a week.he can sometimes be a picky eater.i don't have him on a eating schedule, but in the morning I still give him a morning bottle with oatmeal cereal in it.I try to make him breakfast.eggs, sausages, and pancakes or oatmeal.and he just rather drink off his bottle all day...for meals it depends on what I'm cooking, like chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes, string beans, corn, fries, steak, baked potatoes,.just to name a few...and some days he will eat and other days he just rather drinks his bottle.he loves snacks such as any toddler snack,peaches,applesause,oranges,kiwi,..and still sometimes he rather drink his bottle....can someone please give me some advice.I want him off the bottle and drinking from his simply cup.as well as some tips for what I can try to feed him ,for breakfast, lunch and dinner.also snacks...thank you.

Getting him to eat new foods can be tough. But sometimes it's just a matter of time and repeatedly trying. Also, if he's drinking from the bottle, he might not be hungry when it comes time to eat a meal. That's why you may want to hide the bottle for a bit and try to tempt him that way.

Make it fun - eat some yourself and see if he wants some. Play a game as you feed him at the table about eating all the good food you have for him.

You're welcome, Stephanie! BTW, my husband and I always laugh about how we needed to draw on all our acting skills to look like we were enjoying eating broccoli so our kids would eat it too. Bring some drama into it and he might follow your lead!
