I am a 53 year old grandmother of three young grandkids. I recently married a .an who has six young children. The oldest is eight. My husband and I never had the chance to enjoy our marriage because within two months of the wedding we had to take custody of my stepson three boys because their mother went to jail and by stepson is on drugs. They are all emotionally disturbed with major behavior problems. My stepdaughter has no problems dropping off her two kids for days at a time. We receive no help I am feed up and ready to get a divorce and end our one and a half year marriage. Any advice is welcome I am at my witts end.

First, the kids need all the love they can get- if you guys can get them therapy and give them a good, stable life now they should be able to deal with the trauma.
Second, remember why you fell in love and married the man. Don't just leave on a whim- find a sitter and try a date night or to do something just the two of y'all. Could you find a daycare or do something some time while they're at school or sign them up for some extra curricular so you'd have time to spend together?
