Honestly do yourself an your child favour.....Start the way you mean to go on, Learn young learn easy....both statement's will save you and your child a whole lota bullshit in he teenager years..It won't solve all problems but it will save you and your children from a lot of heartache........we set the ground rules, limits and boundaries early and it should take away some of the major bumps out of the worst years.... Teach them Respect, for you themselves and others, Set rules and consequences for breaking them, Limit the damn TV, XBOX, PSP, CELL PHONES, COMPUTERS....The social skills of our youth are non existent...yes they teach other things but to much kills everything else....moderation is key.........I look at all these posts of mothers with teenagers and it kills me to see there dealing with bullshit from steeling, disrespect, lazy hermits, non working, lafing on couches, or staying in school forever Adults......forget it! teach them young because you can't start at 15 its to late! Just my 2 cents girls but I have 2 daughters 17 and 24 awesome girls .....I was not a Sargent major im actually very easy going kinda mum but not for the things that really matter. .Its to much to put n one post all the right things to do....lol.....just don't be a lazy parent...every time I was with my girls it was a god time to teach something, even if it was just talking, those social skills I mentioned....again I just felt the need to rant after reading yet another mother dealing with a 19 year old that is needing a major ass kicking out the door.......

Didn't bother me a bit, except that you're passing judgment based on posts that you've read. You didn't state that these were all things you'd personally experienced, which perhaps would have been a better preface.

I get what you're saying, my dear, just the presentation of what you're trying to say seemed a bit backwards to me.

It's all good!

Cheers!

Nice judgmental post of those posting in the Mothers of Teenagers group!

LMAO...yours probably weren't angels either, my dear, because no one is perfect, unless you were Christ...and last I checked, He was crucified.

But, it was a great laugh, despite being judgmental of others.
