I am 20 weeks prego with my 2nd daughter. my first is 18 months and will be alsmot 2 when her sis is born. She doesnt ussualy like to be put in the stroller for long periods of time.. but there are times when she must be pushed rather then walking on her own and i dont alwasy have a second person with me to push a second stroller... im nervous that double strollers are just too big, and likely heavy and hard to handle (im only 4 ft 9 and am thinking about loading it in and out of the trunk and stuff) so im thinking about maybe getting one of the "sit&stand" double strollers instead of one of the big ones with 2 full seats and am wondering if anyone has experience with either kind and maybe some suggestions or advise?

I have a sit and stand and I LOVE it. I HIGHLY recommend it for those with a toddler and a new baby.

My kids are now 3.5 and 1.5 and I don't use it as much as I used to, but it still comes in handy at times.

The one that I have folds up pretty small and is fairly easy to move around. The only issue I've had is lugging it up and down stairs. A few stairs is no big deal, it's more like a full flight of stairs or more :P And even then, it's more a matter of practice and finding out what's easiest for you. Getting it in and out of a vehicle has been pretty easy for me, just make sure you empty out the bottom first :P

As for actually rolling it around, the only issue I've found is corners. You can't make tight turns and sometimes you have to actually muscle it over. But once again, it's more a matter of practice and getting used to handling it than any major inconvenience.

As I said, I REALLY like my sit and stand and highly recommend it for those with a toddler and a baby. Unfortunately, I couldn't even give you the brand name for the one I have XD but I love it :P Just look around for something that you like, if you can see a real model, maybe try it out in store, see how it feels :) Good luck :)
