To mothers with big families...

I have a question... Most vans or SUVs that Ive seen have 7 or 8 seats. So if you have more than 4 or 5 children, especially close in age to still be in carseats, How do you manage? Do you have someone to babysit a few kids while you take a few out? Or do you have two cars where you drive one and your boyfriend/husband drive the other? Or do you never go out as a family? Im just curious as Im about to have four children (Im expecting twins this August) And I will be buying a 7/8 seater van within the next two weeks. But Im still young, 23, and would like to have more children before Im 30 (my personal cut off age) So how do you manage family trips with such a big family?
Thanks in Advance :)

My friend has 5 kids - they never bothered with a 7 seater while the kids were young, but just took 2 cars everywhere.

I only have 3 kids, but the first thought that popped into my head is a big van (like a 16 passenger one)....

Congrats on the twins! My identical girls are 9 now. It's quite an adventure.
