The 27th of next month will mark a year that I have breastfed my daughter. This was my goal when I started...to get through a year of breastfeeding and boy was it hard! I also am a pump at work mom. As the days count down, I can't help but feel nervous about the whole weaning process. Physically, I am ready. Emotionally, I am not. I dont want to lose that special time we have together. Every time I get home from work, she is soooo happy to see her 'boobs' have arrived. I also co sleep and nurse her through out the night (basically a human pacifier). Can anybody tell me how they got through the weaning process? Especially if your baby was a comfort nurser almost all night.
