Toddler not listening

My 21 month old is not listening to anything I have to say. Every time I leave her somewhere and come back and get her she starts not listening. She will listen to the person watching her while I am gone but the moment I work in the door the craziness begins. I just don't know what to do anymore. It is so stressful and she is a handful. Any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

You are mom, she acts up with you because she's comfortable with you. Even if she is with the same person everyday, they still aren't mom. So once you pick her up all that pent up energy has to come out and unfortunately you get the worst of it. Maybe when you pick her up go to the park before heading home so that she can run around and start getting her craziness out before you get home.

You need to play pick-a-boo. I know that sounds wired but that game helps kids to understand there mother/father is coming back. You also want to look at what other kids are around her when you drop her off. Kids sometimes tend to copy what they see other kids doing. So if she seen her friend spaz out on there mother she may want to copy that behavior. Last but not least you need to let her know who is boss put her in time out when she is acting up so she will understand she can not act like that when she comes home.
