My little boy is 2 years and three months, I don't know if it is the right time to start toilet training or not. When in nappies he is very anti sitting on the toilet. When he is wearing underwear he will sit on it when I ask him to and we have had both ones and twos in the toilet but he won't ASK to sit when he needs to go. Am I trying to soon? Should I just persevere with accidents and hope he works it out, when do you know it's the right time to just go for it?

I even had to take their diaper/pull up off i know they had an accident but the pressure my child had urged them to go pee pee in the toilet , not just any toilet but their special toilet potty chair we bought for our DD ! I kept showing her this is where you "pee pee" but she had to show me signs she was ready when she pee'd she would point do her diaper and said pee, but i wouldnt rush it if still in the toddler years

I kept asking every 20 minutes after they would eat and drink about the bathroom, soon the kids caught on and I would sit them down on the potty and rewarded them :) they learned pretty fast
