Son 12 years old and has an incontinent bowel and bladder. Ways to stop accidents from happening. Also, he gets catheter 4 times a day and an enema every 3 days

If he is using a catheter 4 times a day, IMO that is not enough. does he have a bowel training program? He should eat at the exact time of day and then sit on the toilet 45 min later for up to an hour. Then his bowel can be trained to evacuate at the same time each day.

Ask the doctor if there is anything you can do to stop the accidents. Otherwise you may just have to deal w/ them for life.

your response didn't clarify a thing. What advice has your physician given you about these issues? Its quite obvious he's under a physician's care, and these are questions that you need to approach him with.

What advice have you gotten from his doctor or behavioral therapist? What is his primary diagnosis?
