Too late being a mom?

Hi CoM!! I just joined...I am a busy professional with 2 kids, one 5 the other 10. I am 45 but luckily look & feel a bit younger :-P. I have been getting an urge lately for a 3rd child...I realize this becasue ai feel weak when I see babies and moms happy being moms. Is it too late?

It's never too late. Science has provided children to women who otherwise were menopausal. However, talk to your doctor. You may already be experiencing a decline in your fertility. This can be an emotional thing, but not impossible to overcome. There are options, such as in vitro, surrogates, egg donations, etc. If you really want it that bad, it can happen. Just know women over 35 have a harder time getting pregnant and the fertility rates drop as you get older. It's possible to have a perfectly healthy baby over 40, but again, check with your doctor about potential risk factors to your health.
