My six year old is constantly getting in trouble for talking and playing around in school. She won't do her work because she is to busy wondering what everyone else is doing. I have tried so many things. Please help.

What does her teacher have to say? Six is still quite young, so you don't want to overreact.

I say you need to talk to her about it and maybe empower the teacher to discipline her with extra work or being asked to leave class. It would be embarrassing to be asked to sit in the hall and might get her to stop. I would not suggest sitting with your 6 year old in class. Helicopter mom much?

Is there a way you, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, or uncle could sit in class with her to help her to concertrate? Would the teacher allow you to do so? Maybe there is someone at the school (music, pe, para) which could help with this also.
