Babies can start teething at any age. Some Mothers have said their babies were born with teeth. It's rare, but it's still possible. I have a 6 month old, he started teething at 3 months, by 4 months he had 3 teeth coming through.

With teething, there's lots of dribbling, they like to chew on just about anything to try and help with the pain. Bonjela isn't really recommended because it has alcohol in it. I use it myself for any mouth issues I have and it stings pretty bad so I can't imagine it'd feel very nice for babies.

Baby panadol is available and you can use it from 1+ months, I find it helps when they're grinding with pain. Nurifen is available from 4+ months, haven't used it but from experience, nurifen has always been better than panadol for pain.
