He has climbed out of his crib a few times and was worried he may get hurt or worse break a bone! He wanted his cribby and wouldnt stop cryin until i brought him into my bed!! I am puting him in his bed in a few mins. But any suggestions would be greatly appreicated. One stressed mummy right now. Help!

No the crib is down and yes i am using the crib mattress. He actually slept on his big boy bed last night all the way til 7am. Yayyy this maybe easier then i was worrying about. Thank you for ur suggestions. 1proud mama!!

Also, if you have a toddler bed, are you using the crib mattress? If yes, stick with all of the same things that were in the crib, and follow the same bedtime routine. The more predictable you can make things, the smoother the transition. Good luck!

Do not start the habit of bringing him into your bed every night! Is the crib still up? If so, put him in it for tonight. Keep the bed and encourage him to nap in it. Also, when he is calm and content you can go lay in it together with a favorite book. He is pretty young yet but if you give him some control, like special sheets or what toy gets to sleep with him in his big boy bed, he may be more open to trying to sleep in it.
