my son transitioned to whole cows milk from formula just fine. He will be 1 on oct. 19. Since it is getting colder now, I have been trying to warm the cows milk but he will not take it, he just likes it straight from the refrigerator but I am afraid that he might catch a cold or get sick from drinking cold milk. ANY TIPS would be great.

Um...there is no way that drinking a cold beverage will cause someone to fall ill. I don't blame your son, actually...lol...I think warm milk is gross!

How many people in your life do you know have gotten sick or gotten a cold from drinking cold milk? Other than people that have a milk allergy/intolerance... it doesn't happen. Let him drink his milk cold like most other people on the planet that drink milk.

I agree with Sarah. There is no harm just giving to him cold. It certainly isn't how a kid catches a cold or gets sick. My kids never drank warmed milk. They hated it. Even when they were drinking formula they didn't like it warm.

You can't get sick from cold milk. If he likes it cold then give it to him cold.
